About

Kendra is a registered and licensed dietitian with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Central Missouri, where she graduated cum laude. She completed her dietetic internship at Prairie View A&M University outside of Houston, Texas, passed the registered dietitian board exam, and is currently licensed in seven states.  Kendra also holds a Health Coach certification.

Kendra’s path into nutrition is deeply personal. As a teenager, she struggled with anorexia nervosa and found guidance and hope through working with a dietitian who truly changed her life. That experience sparked a passion that never faded—nutrition was the very first degree she chose, and she has never looked back. Today, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to every client she works with.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, Kendra has worked with more than 1,000 outpatient clients and supported individuals across a variety of settings, including ICU critical care nutrition, diabetes management (CDCES), weight management and bariatric care, and outpatient eating disorder treatment. She is especially passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food, improve their health, and create realistic, sustainable habits.

Kendra understands firsthand that nutrition is not one-size-fits-all—especially in the context of a busy, real-life household. As a mom, she navigates very different nutritional needs every day: one son who is active in sports and seems like he can’t eat enough, and another with ASD and ADHD who experiences sensory sensitivities that make eating a challenge. Add in a picky husband, and she truly understands the complexity of feeding a family. This unique blend of personal and professional experience allows her to meet clients with empathy, practicality, and zero judgment.

Her approach goes beyond traditional nutrition counseling. Kendra takes a holistic view of health, focusing on the whole person—energy balance, hydration, stress management, boundaries, sleep, and movement. She believes true wellness isn’t about restriction, but about finding balance, building confidence, and practicing self-compassion.

Above all, Kendra knows how overwhelming it can feel to try to prioritize your health in the middle of a busy life. She strives to be a source of motivation, support, and hope—helping clients move forward, even when they feel stuck, and guiding them toward balance and goals they may have once thought were out of reach.

Outside of her work, Kendra enjoys spending time with her family, including her golf-loving husband, their two teenage sons, and their two very spoiled dogs.
