Hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s

Adult Hypothyroidism & Hashimoto's Nutrition Support

Are you constantly exhausted, struggling with weight changes, or feeling like your body just isn't responding the way it used to?

Maybe you've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's disease, or maybe you're still searching for answers. You may be experiencing fatigue, brain fog, constipation, dry skin, hair thinning, feeling cold all the time, or weight gain despite eating well and trying your best.

If this sounds familiar, I want you to know—you are not imagining it, and you're certainly not alone.

Living with a thyroid condition can be frustrating, especially when you feel like your body has changed overnight. Many of my clients tell me they feel dismissed or are simply told to "take your medication" without understanding how nutrition, lifestyle, and other health factors can support how they feel.

At Kendra's Kustom Nutrition, my goal is to help you understand why your body is responding the way it is and create a realistic nutrition plan that supports your overall health—not another restrictive diet.

One of the things my clients appreciate most is finally understanding their lab work and how it relates to their symptoms. Together, we'll review your thyroid labs, nutrition, lifestyle habits, and health history to help identify areas where nutrition can make a meaningful difference.

Together, we'll work on:

  • Understanding your thyroid lab work and what those numbers mean
  • Supporting energy through balanced nutrition
  • Identifying nutrient deficiencies that may affect thyroid health, such as iron, vitamin D, vitamin B12, or selenium
  • Building meals that support blood sugar, metabolism, and overall wellness
  • Understanding how protein and muscle support a healthy metabolism
  • Creating realistic habits that fit your lifestyle—not another restrictive diet

I'm also a strong believer in looking at the whole picture. If you've already had recent laboratory work completed, we'll review those results together and discuss how they relate to your nutrition and symptoms. When appropriate, I'm happy to collaborate with your primary care provider, endocrinologist, or other healthcare professionals to ensure your nutrition plan complements your medical care.

When you understand why your body is responding the way it is, food becomes a lot less confusing—and change becomes much more achievable.

Whether your goal is improving your energy, supporting weight management, feeling stronger, or simply understanding your thyroid condition better, I'll meet you where you are and help you build a plan that works with your body—not against it.

You deserve more than feeling like you're just getting by. Together, we'll focus on helping you feel more energized, confident, and supported so you can get back to enjoying the life you want to live.
